While at a Rock concert, Lisa, a talented, pregnant, teenage songwriter is professionally and emotionally taken with Tece, the equally talented rock singer on stage, mesmerizing his audience with his magnetism. Even though they had a very brief courtship and a simple “sign here” wedding, their deep love for each other and the birth of Lisa’s child, inspired the young Lisa to write a song titled “Lola” after her daughter. Tece’s brilliant performance of “Lola,” resulted in a recording contract, which ultimately produced a smash-hit and catapulted them to overnight success. The story of SNOW takes us into the lives of two talented young musicians who find that love, talent, and emotional stability are not necessarily good bedfellows. After becoming lovers and friends, they discover they should go further and Tece proposes. Theyre deeply in love, but the marriage presents a perfect opportunity for Lisa to hide from the world that Tece is not her childs real father. After a brief, simple sign here ceremony, the birth of her daughter Lola, inspires Lisa to write a song named after the child, which Tece records and becomes a mega hit. Seemingly overnight, Tece is a superstar, with all the spoils that accompanies this level of success. Forced by the record company to appear single to his fans, Tece is obliged to keep Lisas involvement in his success a secret, even though she does reap the financial fruits of her creativity. Throughout all of this, Edwene, Lisas best friend, and Tony, Teces best friend and band member, have been supporting them as only best friends can. The next few years are filled with world tours, and all the stress that comes with the immense responsibilities encountered by a star of Teces magnitude. Raising Lola in this world is neither the easiest chore nor the most beneficial for the child. To cope with this Tece and Lisa implore both Lisas parents, Chris and Frank, and Edwene to help them. After a time, Chris and Frank, reluctantly agree to help with the raising of their grand daughter. As Lolas Godmother, Edwene was thrilled to help. To Lisas disappointment, Tony and Tece having already had a history of substance abuse, find that the stress increases their dependency on drugs and alcohol.
