Follow the life of celebrity, Sherry Cordial, star of stage and screen, as she hosts her own cooking show, Sherry's Kitchen.
As the Star of the cooking show Sherry's Kitchen, Sherry Cordial does everything to be a good host, mother and producer. The loss of her ex-husband seems to be the main interest of the harasing press and fans. She's strong and determined to be the best she can, but many surprises will arise and some will for sure a life changing experience.
Episode 1 - DEATH
It's mid-July in the city that never sleeps, and Sherry Cordial trying to cope with the mysterious death of her ex-husband, Phillip, only hours earlier. In an attempt to keep the news from the press, she turns to her best friend, Tina, (also her AA sponsor), for advice. As she struggles to proceed with the routine of preparing for her television cooking show,she realizes she needs more color in her personal life. Her father John, also the show's producer, makes a vain attempt to console her, revealing a strand relationship in that part of her life.
Episode 2 - THEY KNOW
Two weeks later, on a cold summer morning, Sherry, her children, other family members and friends stage a mock funeral for the press. George, a news rat purposely persuaded to be on the scene waits in hiding for the exact photo op, to give him his story. As the day goes on, after an intense lunch with her sister, Chelsea, Sherry insists on returning to work, by playing the "show must go on" card.
Episode 3 - BUSINESS PLAN
Sherry begins her week nibbling on a piece of fresh home-baked (with her own hands) bread, while soaking in a hot tub, at her beautiful country home, just a short distance from the city. Everyone at work seems to want something from Sherry. She imposes on her board members by appointing her sister, Chelsea, Director of Merchandising. This helps Chelsea with her financial problems, and allows Sherry to escape from those long, boring board meetings.
Episode 4 - ANOTHER DAY
Sherry begins her day as a mom, actress, cooking show host, widow, lover and star... one day at a time. Once again, George, in an attempt to circumvent Sherry's continued resistance to a "Sherry's scoop", approaches Tina this time. She gives him nothing. At yet another board meeting, Chelsea is at the helm. She contains both her dad, John, and Director Bradley, by insisting that commercial merchandising will be financially beneficial for the show.
Episode 5 - THE TEST
After a very early photo-shoot for a French fashion magazine, Sherry finds herself in what we euphemistically call a bad day. Beginning with her son, James, wanting money and tourists wanting a piece of her; to a Japanese contingent considering the feasibility of Sherry's Kitchen being aired in Japan; combined with Dale, her cooking assistant, being impossible; yet another new crew member, and finally the confusion of an open house for the shoot of the show in front of an audience that refuses to quiet down... Sherry is losing it.
